On May 20, the Board Meeting of the International Council for Industrial and Applied Mathematics in Valencia, Spain announces the invited speakers of ICIAM (International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics) 2019. Three of them are ethnic Chinese. They are, Yunqing Huang (vice president of CSIAM, professor of Xiangtan University), Ruo Li (member of CSIAM News editorial board, professor of Peking University) and Xiaoping Wang (professor of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology). The International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM) is the premier international congress in the field of applied mathematics held every four years under the auspices of the International Council for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. ICIAM 2019 will be held in Valencia, Spain on July 15-19, 2019.
